There is nothing more freeing for me than a spur of the moment, just for fun, no pressure, no plan, photoshoot. Don't get me wrong, I have fun at pretty much all of my sessions, but there is inherently more pressure when money is involved. As my business has grown and I've become busier with paid sessions, I sometimes run out of time and energy for practice sessions which isn't a good habit to get into. Occasionally I'll find myself with a day off and all I can think about is heading outside with my camera to capture the magic in a spur of a moment photoshoot. Here are photos from a session just like that with my lovely friend Alli.
